UrbanAmerica's mission is to invest in and develop projects that do well by doing good.

Widely recognized as an industry leader of redeveloping scaled urban core projects, UrbanAmerica's triple-bottom line approach of maximizing social returns while designing environmentally smart projects in the urban core with an incentive-driven financial model is not just aspirational; it's been its business approach since the firm was founded by Richmond S. McCoy two decades ago.

UrbanAmerica’s master planned development approach is dedicated to a community-centric, bottom-up approach to redevelopment. The inclusion of the community is an essential component of creating the right development vision to meet and overcome the complexities of downtown revitalization through the creation of a shared vision between the municipality, private property owners and key community stakeholders..
